Expert ERCP Services at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center

Adam Slivka, MD, PhD
Dr. Slivka obtained his bachelorŠs degree from the University of Michigan and his doctoral degrees from The Mount Sinai School of Medicine and the City University of New York. He undertook his residency training in internal medicine and his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Brigham and WomenŠs Hospital, Harvard University, Boston. He received his training in interventional endoscopy under Dr. David L. Carr-Locke at Brigham and WomenŠs Hospital, Harvard University, Boston.

John A. Martin, M.D.
Dr. Martin obtained his bachelorŠs degree and his doctoral degree from the University of Virginia. He undertook his residency training in internal medicine at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University, and performed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his training in interventional endoscopy under Dr. Adam Slivka at the Univerisity of Pittsburgh, then under Dr. Gregory Haber and Dr. Norman Marcon at The Wellesley Hospital, University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Robert Etemad, M.D.
Dr. Etemad obtained his bachelorŠs degree from Swarthmore College, and his doctoral degree from Temple University. He undertook his residency training in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, and performed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Graduate Hospital, University of Pennsylvania. He received his training in interventional endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound under Dr. Peter Cotton and Dr. Robert Hawes at the Medical University of South Carolina.
